Traffic Backed Up On I-95 Following Multi-Vehicle Crash In Maryland

Traffic was tied up temporarily on I-95 on Monday morning following a crash that left several lanes blocked in Northern Maryland.

First responders from multiple agencies were called to a stretch of the highway near exit 77 (Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway/MD-24) in Edgewood, where there was a multi-vehicle crash, according to officials. 

As of 11 a.m. on Monday, two lanes of traffic were flowing in the area while crews investigated the crash and worked to clear the scene.

No information about the crash, which remains under investigation, was released.
